What doors do you look for knowledge to open?

If it does not open doors to love, you have not learned anything yet.

“To know this love that surpasses knowledge”
 


“To Know This Love That Surpasses Knowledge”

Knowledge is a powerful thing. Some say knowledge is king.

We are told to get a good education.

I can’t think of anything we spend more money on than education.

The cost of education is ever increasing.
 
Most of us look to education for the
knowledge that will get us a better job…

Education so we can make more money
& live more comfortable lives.

Education so we can have more power & control of life.

So what is the end result of knowledge?

Knowledge is very important, but knowledge is not the end.

The Bible tells us…. “To know love”

To know Christ is to know love. 

 Love that reached in every direction.

God does not want us to become confused about knowledge.

Everything that is to be known comes from
God because He created everything.

 Knowledge is to bring us into a place of experience.

That experience is love.

God wants us to know Him because
the result of knowing Him is love.

Everything is encompassed in the love of God.

There is nothing in any direction of life
that doesn’t reveal the love of Christ.

So the question is what does my knowledge produce?

If it is an income or power, your 
knowledge has not gone far enough.

Love surpassed knowledge.

Everything we know... All of our education
 should produce a love for life.

A love for God.    A love for others.

A love for everything God has created.

If we do not consider the Knowledge of God something
to retain, our knowledge will not produce love.

Everything to know is about God.

Everything about God is love.

 “I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

 It is not what you know, it is what you do with it.

Love surpasses knowledge.

since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome

10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms


Ephesians 3:14-19 NIV
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
