God knows

He has ordained for you to

Soar into the heavens

With joy and strength

 

The Fifth Sparrow

In Luke 12, Jesus says a lot about finances.

One of the things He says is…

 “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies.”

Matthew says…

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny.”

Picture this… A poor woman went to

a market to buy a meal for her family.

 She passed the lamb, the beef even the

 doves because she could not afford them.

She saw the tiny little sparrows and unwrapped a

penny from her garment in exchange for two sparrows.

 

 Then she unwrapped another penny

and said give me three sparrows.

The store owner agreed to throw

in the fifth sparrow for free.

In this vast universe, we can feel like that fifth sparrow…

 Like we were just thrown into the sea of humanity.

How could God notice?   How could God care?

The point is… God has not forgotten one of the sparrows.

He has not forgotten the four and He

has not even forgotten the fifth sparrow.

The one that is so small, so insignificant, and worthless.

  He remembered the moment it was conceived,

 the anxious hours the mother tended the egg in the nest…

Protecting it from predators and the cold wind.

The moment it was hatched and the endless

 trips its mother took to feed that little beak.

The first flight where instantly, the tiny brain and muscles all

worked together forcing the wings to move in just the right way.

He ordained the joy it felt as it soared into the heavens.

 

The Million Dollar Life never forgets its value.

 Your life, YOU, are of much more value than the sparrows.

God knows the end of every sparrow’s life

and He knows the end of yours.

He was there when you were conceived, He protected

you and gives you and I everything we need in this life…

Even more than you and I have taken advantage of.

God has developed you and ordained you

to soar like the eagles into the heavens.

 

At the end of this life, He has provided

you with eternal life with Him.

So don’t be afraid…

Your God has ordained your joy and strength.

Soar into your heavenly opportunities.

will renew their strength.
