Generosity Generates Wealth

The Million Dollar Life

By William M. Self, Sr.

Generosity Generates Wealth

“Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back —
given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way.
 Generosity begets generosity."

Luke 6:38 MSG

Generosity Generates Wealth

In Psalms 37, we find the Psalmist is now an older man.

He looks at the legacy of those who have lived a long life.

He sees you cannot separate righteousness and generosity.

“The righteous are always generous”

Throughout life, finances and health may fail,
but the generous person will be remembered…

 He will not be forsaken.

The life of generosity will pave the
path of blessing for their children.

Most of us have to look for the best deals in life.

We feel good when we beat up the salesman.

When we think we got
something at cost or below.

I grew up where I had to scavenge the ditches
for pop bottles to get a few cents.

I had two jobs by the time I was in 6th grade.

Another man’s junk was my treasure.

Second hand items were the best I ever know.

Although I have always been generous with my time,
I was not so generous with money and things.

When kids come to me for a fundraiser,
I would send them to Sandy.

Sandy has taught me a lot about generosity.

No matter how little we have or how much,
we must beware of the closed hand.

A closed hand cannot give
 and it cannot receive.

 Money can’t buy you love.

Money can’t buy you
positive attitudes from other.

Generosity fills store houses of
love and positive attitudes.

This is why Jesus said…

“Give and it shall be given to you…running over

How open is your hand?

How righteous are you?

It is measured by your generosity?
