The Million Dollar Life
By William M. Self, Sr.
Generosity
We all have the power to transform someone else’s life
And every day some people do
Is generosity a habit of your?
Habit of Generosity
The Greek word for Generosity
in
2 Corinthians 6:6 is
two words…
The first word means “Above,
or Over”.
The second word means
“Blessing or Bountiful
gift”.
Generosity has the
meaning of “Above blessing”.
The wikipedia dictionary defines Generosity…
anything in return. It
can involve offering time,
assets or talents to aid someone in need.”
Generosity crosses many social disciplines.
Generosity feeds the hungry, shelters
the homeless, heals
the sick.
Generosity crowds out the root of selfishness.
It empowers the giver as much
as it serves to meet a need.
The power of generosity is transforming.
God has wired us to
give because it not
only meets social needs, but it creates
inter joy which brings emotional health.
Generosity should be a life style and
not only when a
disaster strikes.
Generous people have learned how
to turn their
resources into power…
A power of love.
The Bible says…
“Don't run up debts,
except for the huge debt
of love you owe each other. When you love
others, you complete
what the law has been
after all along.” Romans 13:8-9 THE MESSAGE
Generosity Generates Gratitude
No social network can
survive without generosity…
The family, work place, neighborhood, church.
Whether it is the tip we give the waitress,
or the kidney donated…
Each gift transforms lives when
we do it expecting
nothing in return.
We all have the power to transform someone
else’s life and every day some people do.
Is generosity a habit of your?
