Family Strong Language for a Strong Family

Family
Strong Language for a Strong Family

Do we try to change the Father’s standard in His family

Ever seen a begging child?

The sad eyes, the never giving up, “Please, Please”.
The bartering, “I will do this if you…”

They call them the terrible two’s.

But I am a sucker for a two year old,
I want to give in every time.

At two, they begin to realize their independence.

Every mother can tell you stories of their two year old,
stories of independence and trouble.

I have seen families controlled by a two year old.

When a child acts in a wrong behavior some parents
laugh it off and think it is funny.

Some get angry and instill a wrong sense of fear.

Some get worn out and give in to the child.

Families need standards.

The family needs to know what
is expected and what is not.

John’s writings are very focused on God’s family.

From John’s writings we get some very strong words.

He says we are to be like HIM, “like God”.
 1 John 3:2

We are to purify ourselves as God is pure verse 3.

John tells us not to be led astray.

“No one who is born of God will continue to sin,
because God's seed remains in him;
 he cannot go on sinning,
because he has been born of God.
“This is how we know who the children of God
are and who the children of the devil are:
Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God;
nor is anyone who does not love his brother.”

Strong words:
Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God;
nor is anyone who does not love his brother.”

The responsibility of leading the family
is on the head of the family, the father.

Our Heavenly Father speaks strong words
in order to have a strong family.

We see the family values and standard falling apart.

Saying “No” is not enough.

The “standard” must always be upheld
no matter how hard it might be to keep it.

Our Heavenly Father’s standard for
the children of God has never changed.

Popular opinion, time, culture, governments, etc.,
cannot change the standard for the children of God.

The children of God will always do three things…

 Purify themselves
Life is lived from the soul and spirit.
From the mind and heart the will
and emotions, purity has to start here.

They do what is right
When the inter being is pure, the actions are pure
Every discussion we make effects ourselves and others.
 Wrong discussion hurts.

Love one another
There is no room for hate and unforgiveness in the child of God.
Our love for one another is set on helping others live a successful life.
A life God can bless.

YES! These are strong words but you cannot
have a strong family without strong words.

Remember God speaks the truth in love and so should we.

Scripture Reading

1 John 3:2-3 NIV
2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself,
just as he is pure.

1 John 3:4-10 NIV
4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.
9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
