Cycles of Family
The Destiny of the Womb
“…your eyes saw my
unformed body.
All the days ordained
for me
were written in your
book
before one of them
came to be.
How precious to me are
your thoughts, O God!”
Psalms 139
I don’t remember being in the womb or being a baby.
I have a hard time looking back to all the
foot steps that got me to where I am today.
Yet, the path was made and I am here.
God tells us He has ordained our days
as He formed our body in the womb.
God has also written His plans
and precious thoughts in a book.
Some of us believe our decisions make no difference.
God’s plans over rule everything we do.
I take a different point of view.
In the beginning man was to rule the earth,
God put it in the control of us.
God also says it is not His will that
any should parish, but many parish.
In the Book of Revelation 22:7 it says…
"Behold, I am
coming soon! Blessed is he who
keeps the words of the prophecy in this
book." NIV
I believe God has a wonderful plan for every life.
If you will, God has prophesied about you
and wrote it down before you were born.
There is a blessing to those who keep
the prophecy in the Book of Revelation.
There is also blessing in keeping the prophecy of your life.
As parents we must carefully nurture the
Word of God in the
life of our children.
Yes, we know in part and prophecy in part
which means there are no perfect parents.
We all miss the mark of perfection.
The joy for those who love God
and seek Him, there is a promise…
“All things will work
out for the good”
Yes, it is hard to image the child in
the womb, that new born in 80 years.
But as parents, their first steps are guided by you.
Therefore, remember the steps of a
good man are ordered by the Lord.
Keep the light of Christ on your path and your children’s.
If you take care of the ground around a seed
and water it, the seed will grow and produce
fruit even though you don’t understand it.
There are 6 cycles for a family to navigate
“Cycles of family life”

Bearing children
Raising children
The empty nest / launching new family

Death in the marriage
Family cycles should be a great experience for the whole

Scripture Reading
Psalm 139:13-18 NIV
3 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you.
