Children of God

The assets of your Heavenly Father will fit

in a small change purse compared to His love.

One of the joys of being a father is

helping to establish your children in life.

I have helped Marty build a computer business.

One day after Marty had bid on a very large lot

of computer items he called me to come pay the

bill and organize the transporting of the items.

When I arrived, I got several comments from

those at the auction and those Marty hired to

help us move the items over the next 3 days.

The comments were how great a dad I was and a

couple of young men said, “I wish you were my dad”.

WOW!  Did that make me feel good.

Every once in a while I will watch one of those

shows about how the wealthy live in luxury.

With all respect to my great dad I have

thought, “I wish they were my dad”.

I think owning my own Caribbean Island with

a large mansion fully staffed and yacht, too.

WOW! That is a dream.

Then I realize how small my dream is.

The Bible says, “the earth is the

Lord’s and the fullness there of.”

  

And it is His foot stool; just the smallest piece

of furniture in comparison to His throne in heaven.

The assets of this wealthy God fits in a

small change purse compared to His love.

WOW!!! “I wish He were my dad.”

That is the message John is

trying to get to us when he says…

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us,

that we should be called children of God!

And that is what we are!”

Wake up it’s not a dream we have the opportunity

to become the children of God.

To as many as receive Him, He gave the

right to become the children of God. John 1:12

John wants us to know the reason we

can be called the children of God is…

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us…

God is Love, this is the attribute of who God is.

Are you ready to let God be your Father?

Having a perfect Father can make life challenging.

But everything He does is for your good.

Go ahead and say, Ababa Father.
