Christmas is For Everyone

Where can I find Christmas?

Is it something I can see?

Christmas is found in family and friends.

It is found in giving and gratitude.

It is found in peace and joy.

It is found in every part of the world.

It is found in celebration.

It is celebrated by Christians and atheist,
By blacks and whites and all ethnic groups,
young and old, male and female.

Why is Christmas for everyone?

Because God loves the world.

God does not close His eyes to the
harmful ways we hurt each other.

This may surprise you, God not
only hates sin, but the sinner.

"The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes;
Thou dost hate all who do iniquity."

"The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked,
and the one who loves violence His soul hates."

"Moreover, you shall not follow the customs of the nation
which I shall drive out before you, for they did all these things,
and therefore I have abhorred them."

"There are six things which the Lord hates,
yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:
17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that run rapidly to evil,
19 A false witness who utters lies,
and one who spreads strife among brothers."

"All their evil is at Gilgal; indeed,
I came to hate them there!
Because of the wickedness of their deeds
I will drive them out of My house!
I will love them no more;
All their princes are rebels."

Murder is not murder until someone takes a life.

Lying is not lying until someone does not tell the truth.

Sin is not sinning until a person does the sin.

Therefore, you cannot say God
hates the sin, but loves the sinner.

God knew full well the wickedness of each
one of us when He was born into the world.

God had every right to destroy us 2000 years ago
or any other time in history.

Jesus did not come for the good people.

For there are none righteous no not one.
Romans 3:10-12

When it comes to sin there is no diversity
we all have sin and God hates the sinner.

But this is why Christmas is so wonderful…

You see, at just the right time,
when we were still powerless,
Christ died for the ungodly.
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man,
though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:6-8

How amazing is God’s love
that in His great mercy…

Jesus came to pay the price
for the sinner He hates.

God offers the redemptive
price to every people group.

It does not matter what you have done,
where you were born,
God’s love reaches to every diversity.

But it is a choice.
Either God pays for our sin or we do…

Forever which will it be?

God sent His Son knowing
the harm we do to each other.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners
1 Timothy 1:15

His love is for everyone.

God’s love was born in Bethlehem.

Love is born in Christmas.

May His love be born in us.

Because Christmas is for everyone.

Jesus came to remove hate.

And He did it with the
most powerful act of love.

There is no more powerful demonstration.

This is how diversity should be.

Scripture Reading

1 Timothy 1:15-17 NIV
15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners — of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. 17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Titus 3:3-8 NIV
3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
