Power in the Finger 

You use your fingers every day

Your finger has a lot of power to control gadgets and communicate messages

The finger of God is also powerful to create and control the heavens

To communicate His covenant and destroy the evils of darkness

What finger do you use most to operate gadgets?

What if you offer your finger as an extension of the finger of God

To a lost world who cannot see the finger of God?

Power in the Finger

Rewind to the 1960’s and you will find an

animated television series called “The Jetsons”.

A fictional family in the 21^st century.

Husband and father of two is the

fictional character named George Jetson.

This space age series showed us many of

the modern technical advances we have today.

George Jetson had one responsibility at work

and it was to press a button with his finger.

In one episode George is complaining to his wife,

Jane about how hard his finger worked.

Amazing what we can do today with one finger.

With the finger we have the power to type and text…

To communicate around the world.

The finger is powerful.

Unfortunately, some use a finger to show

their greatest anger, hatred and frustration.

If our fingers are so powerful how

powerful are the fingers of God?

  

Did you know God created

the heavens with His fingers? 

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers

Psalm 8:3

Did you know God wrote the covenant

of the law with His finger in stone?

When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.

Exodus 31:18

Did you know Jesus took His finger to write

in the sand and it saved a woman’s life?

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.

7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them,

"If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

John 8:6-8

Did you know that the plagues on Pharaoh and Egypt

at the time of Moses came by the finger of God?

The magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." 

But Pharaoh's heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said.

Exodus 8:19

Did you know Jesus controls demons with His finger

and by His finger His Kingdom of God comes to us?

But if I drive out demons by the finger of God,

then the kingdom of God has come to you.

Luke 11:20

Don’t underestimate the power of our God.

He is able to lift all your burdens with one finger.

He is able to write His story

of love for you on your heart.

He is able to cast out your

demons with the flick of His finger.

What finger do you use most to operate gadgets?

What if you offer your finger as an

17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: "Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. 18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebub. 19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.

21 "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. 22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up the spoils.

23 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters.
