Knowledge Zeal Without Knowledge

Knowledge
Zeal Without Knowledge

Make sure your zeal is established
on the knowledge of God.

Make sure you are storing it up for the day you will need it.

When your tank is full of the knowledge
of God your tank of zeal will last a life time.

I seem to analyze everything

I love risk but only calculated ones

Yet, still there are times my zeal has got me into
a place where I did not know what I was doing

Maybe you had a dream of having your own business.

Or, maybe you thought you found Mr. or Miss right.

Only to find out if you knew then what you
know now you would have done things different.

Over a life time you and I have a collection of regrets.

Thank God for His mercy and second chances.

It becomes very important that we learn from our mistakes.

“Education cost whether you get it from the top universities or
the school of hard knocks.  The key is don’t pay for it twice.”   Wms

There are three types or approaches to life.

Analyze it first, learn as you go, and the dreamer.

Dreams are good but without the knowledge to make
it a reality you are almost sure to end up with trouble.

The saying “hast makes waste” is true.

Plans help you search for knowledge and
goals help you evaluate what you know and
how well you are acting on your knowledge.

Knowledge is also very important to your spiritual life.

Playing ignorant is not a viable excuse.

Some of us live by excuses and are very good at them.

Blaming others and things never gets good results.

There is every reason to get excited
about what God has done for us.

The Christian life is full of hopes, dreams, and faith.

The zeal generated by hope, dreams and
faith is exhilarating and contagious.

Hope, dreams and faith vanish in
times of challenge without substance.

It is no secret that many believers are
destroyed because they lack knowledge.

Zeal can come quickly but knowledge takes time.

The knowledge of God is endless so
gaining it should be a daily pursuit.

Zeal will get you started but knowledge will help you finish.

We are always to be ready to give
an answer for the hope inside of us.

Knowledge is not to be made up on the fly.

Knowledge takes time and discipline.

We should remember that we may not fully understand
God’s Word as we search it on a regular bases.

But when the time comes and we need it the Holy Spirit
will bring it back to our remembrance and we will say…
“Oh that is what God meant”.

When we live on zeal we establish
our own rules and guidelines.

We determine what is right on our own.

When this happens we are no longer
submitting to God’s righteousness.

Make sure your zeal is established
on the knowledge of God.

Make sure you are storing it up for the day you will need it.

When your tank is full of the knowledge
of God your tank of zeal will last a life time.

Scripture Reading NIV

Proverbs 19:2
2 It is not good to have zeal without knowledge,
nor to be hasty and miss the way.

Romans 10:1-4
Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.   3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.

Romans 12:11
11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
