Knowledge Things “Too Wonderful” for You to Know

Knowledge

Things “Too Wonderful” for You to Know

Romans 11:33
Our Creator has not only made the wonders of creation

He has kept them in order

Your loving God knows all about your life

Even the things that are

“Too wonderful for you to know”

How deep is your knowledge?

I have studied the Word of God all my life.

People come to me all the time asking
for advice on all kinds of subjects.

Yet, on a warm summer night and the sky is clear

When after a full day I lie on
the ground and look into the sky

When the stars are too vast to count

I become overwhelmed with wonder

The vastness of the heavens, the order and
cycles unchanged from their purpose and plan

I find myself questioning the value of the little I know.

The Psalmist says…

“The heavens declare the glory of God…”
“Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.”

The heavens are speaking to us.

Yet, we can become too familiar with their voice.

Most of us see the sky every day and never give
it a though beyond how shall I dress for the weather.

Our look at sky rarely takes
our thoughts beyond today.

Yet, their voice speaks of thousands of years
ago and the Creator who made them.

 When Job’s life was filled
with pain and confusion
When his search for the answer to his
crisis was nowhere to be found

God points him to creation.

I am sure there have been times in
your life when you thought of Job.

Times when you were overwhelmed with life

When you could not understand how God could
allow your life to become so painful or hopeless.

How many times have we taken a
position that questioned God.

The most serious things you
and I can do is question God?

Job’s unmanageable losses and pain
were no reason to question God.

God became very stern with Job.

God said…

"Who is this that darkens my counsel
with words without knowledge?
Brace yourself like a man; I will question you,
and you shall answer me.
"Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.

No sympathy here.

It is like military training
Brace yourself like a man”.

Job and his friends had to realize
they don’t need to know everything.

They will not always have the answer.

The greatest revelation of Job’s
experience comes when he realizes

The things he does not know

The things he wants to know

Are too wonderful to know.

“Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know.”

When life seems to be “too hard”
remember that is when it is “too wonderful”.

Look into the heavens and ask yourself the question

Where were you when God
created the heavens and the earth?

Our Creator has not only made
the wonders of creation

He has keep them in order.

Your loving God knows all about your life.

Even the things that are
“too wonderful for you to know”.

Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know.
