Marriage The Bride a Sacred
Thing
When God created woman He created a gift.
Adam could clearly see Eve was a gift
greater than all the other created things.
A woman’s “Life”, a woman’s “Love” is a sacred thing.
The woman who does not defile herself from
being the woman God made her to be is virtuous.
All though the Bible says a virtuous woman
is hard to find, any woman can be one.
Her value is far above a costly ruby.
The asking price for an untreated
Burmese 15.87 –carat ruby is 15 million.
Her husband has complete confidence and trust in her.
The woman made by God has incredible abilities.
When these abilities are
properly cultivated
there seems to be nothing she cannot do.
Her body, soul and spirit have incredible power
to bring indescribable pleasure to her husband.
The woman is gifted to give life through her body.
The attachment to that life as a mother and
grandmother is unable to be separated.
Her value to the unity and strength
of the family is unquestionable.
The woman like the man were
given the ability to make choices.
When a woman stands at the altar and says “I Do”…
She is making an incredible statement.
The wedding has been called tying the knot.
Like two ropes, once the two are tied together,
where the one goes the other also goes.
The life and love of a woman
becomes forever united to the man.
Her life and her love now must move
with the life and love of her husband.
A wise husband will recognize the
value of his wife’s life and love.
He will honor her life and love and recognize
that it is God who gave her both.
She may not feel holy or spiritual but the
husband embraces her as God’s agent of His love,
who speaks to her of God’s purpose and value.
This will increase her confidence and strength.
The husband may bring her great
joy or cause her deep sorrow.
It is not the things the husband brings her
in a material way that makes true happiness.
Riches without love are nothing.
It is the practice of godly virtues, loyalty, patients,
comfort, forsaking all others to keep yourself only for her.
That will bring true happiness.
Husbands keep your wives sacred and holy
bath yourself and your wife in the Word of God.
Make sure the sacred fragrance
reached the one who made you both.
Scripture Reading
Genesis 2:20-22 NIV
But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord
God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he
took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord
God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her
to the man.
Ephesians 5:25-33 NIV
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the
church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the
washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a
radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and
blameless. 28 In
this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who
loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but
he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are
members of his body. 31 "For this reason a man will leave his father and
mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." 32 This is a profound mystery — but I am
talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love
his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
