The Hands of Wealth

The Million Dollar Life

By William M. Self, Sr.

Wisdom

“More profitable than silver

Yields better returns than gold”

The Hands of Wealth

The other day I sold a car.

The man I sold the car to, handed me
a hand full of hundred dollar bills.

I like those hands, the ones filled with dollars, silver and gold.

We all like handouts.

Some like welfare handouts and others
like handouts for a job well done.

We all look somewhere for the hands of wealth.

The wealthiest hands are not the ones filled with silver and gold.

The wealthiest hands are filled with long life and wealth.

These are the hands of WISDOM.

The person who seek understanding and wisdom,
who realizes its value is greater than silver and gold…

Will be blessed.

The more wisdom and understanding
you have, the more valuable you are.

Wisdom and understanding can adapt in any economy.

Wisdom and understanding make
provisions silver and gold cannot.

My dad used to tell me… Learn to work smarter not harder.

The more we understand the design of
the Creator, the smarter we can work.

Knowledge is good and so is
 the ability to quote scriptures.

But without understanding of how it all
practically works out, leaves you empty.

In God’s right hand is long life, and in His left are riches.

Your provision is in God’s hands.

You have heard the saying… Give a person a fish and you will feed
him for a day; teach him how to fish and he will eat for a life time.

God wants you to understand how He has put
your provision for life together and where to find it.

He wants you to have wisdom to where
everything in life looks like common sense.

Certainly knowing God’s Word is the place to start.

And when you allow the Holy Spirit to breathe
it into your everyday life you discover wisdom.

The old saying “cash is king” to reveal the
importance of your portfolios is not true.

Jesus is King and from His hands come wisdom and understanding.

From His hands come long life and riches.

Scripture Reading

Ephesians 1:16-19 NIV
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

Proverbs 3:13-18 NIV
3 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gains understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who embrace her;
those who lay hold of her will be blessed.
