Being Successful Time

Being Successful
Time

One of the first things we learn in Genesis 1 is God establishes time

“And God said,
“Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night,
and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years”

To be successful the first thing you need to understand

Is time and your purpose in time

Time

One of the first things we learn in
Genesis 1 is God establishes time.

“Darkness covered the face of the deep”
The Spirit of God was moving over
the face of the waters and God said
“Let there be light”

God separates the light from the darkness.

In doing so, He establishes time in the form of a day.

It is these days God divides His time to work.

God establishes time in the form of a week.

Establishing six days to work and one to rest.

When we get to verse 14, we see God uses the
sun, moon, and stars to form years and seasons.

“Then God said, “Let there be light-bearers (sun, moon, stars)
in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night,
and let them be useful for signs (tokens) [of God’s provident care],
and for marking seasons, days, and years;
and let them be useful as lights in the expanse
of the heavens to provide light on the earth”;
and it was so, [just as He commanded].”AMP

God established the light to “rule” time.

It is very important we submit to the ruling of
the light and the days, weeks, years, and seasons.

Understanding how to manage time was the
first things God did in establishing the earth.

It is one of the first things we need
to learn to be successful in life.

Being realistic about our time will
lead to a productive and peaceful life.

We should not carry over to the next day the things we can
accomplish today otherwise we will find ourselves over-
whelmed as we have too much to do at the end of the week.

We also need to know how to space things out;
some things are meant to be a season of our life.

Parenting is one of those seasonal
things and those seasons change.

A parent cannot give a baby
everything it needs for life in a day.

Over time you teach a child how to eat and
what to eat, how to walk and then to run.

If you don’t understand seasons, you will become
depressed at the lack of accomplishment in a day.

In the same way, if we wait or put off training a
child we will see great hardship for us and the child.

Managing time is first.

Time is something you either use it or lose it.

You can never get it back but the Bible does
say there is a way to redeem the time.

Jesus arose up early before anything else
filled his mind to be with the Father.

God set the evening to be a time for
Adam and Eve to meet with God.

Either way morning or evening each
day should have time with God.

This time with God will help us
evaluate our time on a daily bases.

We need to remember the earth is the Lord’s.

Not ours.

God placed us here to care for it.

Jesus shows us what the time each day with
God should embrace when He teaches us to pray.

First we thank and praise God…

 “Hollowed be Thy name”

“Your Kingdom come your will be
done in earth as it is in heaven.”

That is our purpose.

That is our prayer.

God give us this “day” what we need
to bring Your kingdom to earth today.

And help us to properly handle our
relationships and the selfish desires that
can get in the way of a productive day.

If you and I want to hear the words…

“Well done good and faithful servant”

We will have to have a good understand of time.

We will also have to understand our purpose for that time.

Scripture Reading

Genesis 1:1-5: 14-19
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

Matthew 6:9-13
“This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.

Luke 19:17
“‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.
