Aim for “Good”

If we are to be successful we will need to be like

God our Creator and always aim for perfection

Aim for what is good

Jesus said, “Be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect”

Check your work out, don’t be a time clock person

who only is concerned about putting in your time

As important as time is it is not the focus of the successful person 

“Good”...“Perfection” is the focus

You and I were made to be good and to do good. Galatians 6:10

It all starts with a “Good” Attitude 

Aim for “Good”

If we are to be successful we will need to be like

God our Creator and always aim for perfection.

Aim for what is good.

Jesus said…

“Be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect”.

 Don’t be a time clock person who only

is concerned about putting in your time.

As important as time is, it is not the

focus of the successful person.

 “Good”…“Perfection” is the focus.

You and I were made to be good and to do good.

Galatians 6:10

This is work.

 But the God who created man

promises never to leave us or forsake us.

Therefore, our weakness because

of sin becomes an opportunity.

The Bible says…

 “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it.”

Don’t look at life as bad.

Life is full of challenges and hardships, but each

one of them is not there to show you how bad life is.

God did not ignore and will not ignore what is not good.

He rises to the challenge to make that which is not good, “Very Good”.

So it might be hard to accomplish good but it is never bad.

  

Developed an attitude of Good.

Care about life.

A Good Attitude is a Caring Attitude.

Don’t allow the negative pressures in life

make you a person who does not care.

With all the negative things people have done throughout history…

God cared.

It is not His will that any should perish.

It is because God cares.

Christ died for us.

Jesus did not die for us because He saw the world so bad…

He died because He saw how good it can be.

When you have an attitude of good you

have hope even when all else seems hopeless.

If we are going to be like our Father in Heaven…

If we are going to be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect…

 

We will have to have an attitude of doing good.

We will have to care about life and never

give up hope that good will overcome.

We have hosted many parties in our home.

Sometimes people stay to help clean up

the mess and other times they do not.

When we care not only about the party of

life, but the clean up as well, we make

those who host the party want to do it again.

Jesus sacrificed His life so we could live life to the fullest.

If living life to the fullest sounds

like a party to you remember this…

Every party is work before and after the party.

If you are looking for the good times

then you have to care about the messes.

We will have to be like our Creator

who aimed for perfection.

He looked to see that everything He did was “Good”.

If you are looking for the good in life and don’t see it…

Be like God and create it.
