Voting in America Our Youth Your Choice

Voting in America

Our Youth Your Choice

Voting for President may not do much
for your children in the next 4 years.

But giving your kids and grandkids a vote
of support each day can change generations.

As a Baby Boomer, I am embarrassed.

As I see more and more of us dying I
become concerned for the next generations.

Our politicians tell us they are running
for office for the children…

But have opposing ways of helping them.

Who will deliver our children from our failures?

As I watch the politicians and the media,
I am astounded at their childish ways.

It seems rare to hear wisdom and truth.

Tomorrow, November 8, 2016, you will
have the opportunity to vote for the
Presidency of the United States and other offices.

The term of the presidency is four years.

Some of us will feel we did our job and if our candidate
loses we will blame the other side for all our troubles.

American needs a deliver.

I would like to suggest we take
a longer view than 4 years.

40, even 50, years ago I would have never thought
Christ would have waited so long to return.

And what if Christ would not
return for the next 100 years?

I know some of you are thinking…

 Bill that is not possible.

Yes, I want the Lord to come back
today I am sick of the sin in the world.

But what if your unborn grand-
children are born and live to be 100?

What will they face?

Will there be faith on the earth?

Will they even know Christ?

If we look at Biblical history we can find delivers.

Two of the most notable are Moses in the Old
Testament and Jesus Christ in the New Testament.

Both had a mother and father.

In both cases the mother gets more recognition.

Note the trouble in the land their lives
were threatened because there was an order
to reduce the population of God’s people.

So what is my point.

When God raised up these delivers he had a long term plan.

Even though Christ will return, the command in the
Garden of Eden for man to rule is still our responsibility.

How much attention are we giving
our mothers and fathers to be?

Are we envisioning them that their
children are to be the rulers of the world?

They may not be called to become president but there
is a call of God on their lives and that call is important.

I have to tell you I have more hope for my
grandchildren to be Christ delivers than I
do in the candidates we are voting for.

Sandy and I use every opportunity to speak
encouragement into our children now that they are parents.

We use every opportunity to do the same to our grandchildren.

Every ounce of wisdom and truth I have
gained I look for ways to invest it into them.

We teach them to fear the Lord and nothing else.

We show them love is the motivating factor of
everything we do even when love means correction.

Mercy and Grace are displayed daily.

Older women teach the younger women.

Older men teach the younger men.

Teach them to be world changers through parenting.

Prophesy to your children and grandchildren.

Prophesying is speaking the word of the Lord, pray
that God will share with you what He has to say
about them and share what God tells you with them.

Your votes will empower someone
to office for the next four years.

But God has given us children and
grandchildren who need our vote.

They will change the world till Christ comes again.

Raise them up to be the “Glorious Church”
that Christ is coming back for.

We are eternal beings so let’s get a bigger prospective.

Babies are fragile but God uses the weak
things of the world to confound the mighty.
1 Corinthians 1:26-28

God is patient and never late in accomplishing His will.

Each baby is a gift from God.

Scripture Reading NIV

Titus 2:1-5
You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. 2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Exodus 1:22-2:4
22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: "Every boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live."
2 Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
Luke 1:26-33
26 In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
