Come Lord Jesus
He Who Testifies
Revelation 22:20, the second to the last verse in the Bible says
He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Revelation 22:20
The Book of Revelation is the testimony of Jesus
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw — that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Revelation 1:1-3
Jesus is coming soon and He has given us His testimony
Of what we should look forward to
John follows up Jesus’ words by saying
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
That should be our response to Jesus’ Testimony
Amen meaning “So Be It” because it is trustworthy
Can you say Amen, Come, Lord Jesus?
What is your testimony?
He Who Testifies
Testimonies are so powerful.
We base so much of our
lives on what others have said.
It is always better to get an eye
witness testimony than someone
who heard or has an opinion.
Revelation ends with an
emphasis on testimonies.
Verse 17 says…
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”
Jesus told His disciples that after His
departure the Spirit of God would come.
In John 16, we see the Spirit
is to be our Counselor…
He will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin
and righteousness and judgment:
in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me
John 16:8-9
Romans 10:13-16, tells us the Spirit testifies
of Jesus’ sacrifice and the covenant of God.
The Bride is the Church.
Ephesians 5:25-27
The Bride knows the Groom so well…
She wants to live with Him forever.
Both the Spirit and the Bride testify of Jesus
and invites the world to come to Jesus.
And let him who hears say, "Come!"
Revelation 22:17
There are many who have heard of Jesus.
They believe what they have heard.
Their faith is proclaimed saying “Come”.
I love the target of those invited to “Come”.
Whoever is thirsty, let him come;
and whoever wishes,
let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Revelation 22:17
“Whoever wishes”
Wow!!!
You don’t have to have seen Jesus in the flesh.
Or, be certain all that is said about God is true.
You only have to wish for those
good things you heard about.
And you are encouraged to “Come”.
Sadly, we not only need to see
the goodness of God…
We also need to see the judgment of God.
Especially upon those who do not
handle the Word of God…
The prophetic words of Christ properly.
Revelation 22:18
Verse 20, the second to the
last verse in the Bible says…
He who testifies to these things says,
"Yes, I am coming soon."

Revelation 22:20
That should be our response
to Jesus’ Testimony.
Amen meaning “So Be It”
because it is trustworthy.
Three times Jesus says…
“I am Coming Soon”
Verse 7…
Blessed is he who keeps the words
of the prophecy in this book.
Verse 12…
My reward is with me, and I will give to
everyone according to what he has done.
Verse 20
He who testifies to these things says,
"Yes, I am coming soon."

What is your testimony?
Scripture Reading
Revelation 22:17-21 NIV
17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.
