The Ultimate Collision of Light and Darkness

 

The Light of the Church will increase in the last days

As the power of the Church’s Light increases so will the darkness of the world

Up until now there has been a lot of gray between the two

But as the Light of the Church increases and the darkness of the world increases

The room between the two will be removed

There will be strength of the Light and strength of the dark

The Church will not be weak because the world is dark

As darkness increases in the world don’t give up hope

Let the vision of the end inspire you to be the greatest Light you can be

Remember these final words

He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21

The Ultimate Collision of Light and Darkness

It is a true statement if you want to succeed in anything…

“You must keep the end in sight.”

This could never be truer for the Believer in Christ.

There is no greater scripture to help us keep

the end in sight than Revelation 21 and 22.

The two last chapters of the Bible

give hope and encouragement as we

see the darkness increase in the earth.

Revelation 21 says there is coming

a new heaven and a new earth.

This present earth and heavens will be destroyed.

 This message should not stop the Great Commission

but should increase our fuel to spread the Gospel.

Revelation 22:10,11 says it this way…

Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book,

because the time is near. Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong;

let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."

It is not a time to seal up the Words of Truth.

Our message is not a message

of forcing people to do right.

Doing right and Walking in

the Light is a personal choice.

So we let the wrong doers

and vile continue to do wrong.

But on the other hand those whose hearts have

been changed let them continue to do right and be holy.

We cannot stop the darkness with laws and force.

The darkness of people’s hearts will grow darker.

But at the same time the Light

of the believer will grow brighter.

The end of this world will

not be evil overcoming good.

The end of the earth will not

be darkness overcoming Light.

Ephesians 5:27 says Jesus is coming

back for a “Glorious Church”,  a

church without spot, wrinkle, or any blemish,

a church holy and blameless.

The Light of the Church will

increase in the last days.

As the power of the Church’s Light increases

 so will the darkness of the world.

Up until now there has been a lot of gray between the two.

But as the Light of the Church increases

and the darkness of the world increases,

 the room between the two will be removed.

There will be strength of the Light and strength of the dark.

The Church will not be weak because the world is dark.

It will come to a time when the opposing

of Light and darkness will be so great that

 you will not stand in the middle,

 you will choose one or the other.

And whatever that choice is let

that person continue in that choice.

When there is no more room between the Light and dark…

 God will destroy the old heaven and earth

and set up the new heaven and new earth.

The Lord will come with His reward.

There will be no need for the sun or moon

because the Glory of God will be the Light.

We will rein forever and ever in the Light God gives.

There will be no more night,

locking of doors, no fear, sorrow or pain.

The last verses of the Bible are

the greatest invitation ever given…

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes,

let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Revelation 22:17

As darkness increases in the world, don’t give up hope.

Let the vision of the end inspire

you to be the greatest Light you can be.

Remember these final words…

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 22 NIV

22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

6 The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."

7 "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book." 

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!"

10 Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near. 11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."

12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. 

14 "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 

16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star." 

17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
