The Main Thing Conversion

The Main Thing

Conversion

Conversion to Jesus is not RARE
It is more than name identification
Conversion starts in the heart
It changes lives
From the history books at the time of Jesus to growing number of churches today
Jesus is changing lives
According to the Pew Research Center in 2015, 31% of the world’s population was Christian
One third of the world population claims to follow Jesus and His teachings
Imagine the world without them
It is not rare to see Jesus change men and women, young and old with every ethnic background
What does that change look like?
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control
If you really want to do something about evil in the world that is proven
To make a difference, turn to Jesus, make Him Lord of your life.

Conversion

Conversion to Jesus Christ is not rare,
I see it all the time.

There is a church we attend when we are in Florida.

This church started June, 2015, with 75 people and
as of August, 2017, is over 700 and still growing,
with most of that growth being conversions.

This is just one of the many examples of
changed lives because of Jesus Christ.

I never run short of people to interview about their conversion to
Jesus Christ and the testimonies of change Jesus made in their lives.

I have seen America change and the
world change for more than six decades.

I have seen the increase of rebellion and hate in the media,
yet at the same time,
I see the church growing like never before.

It has always been the one disruptive child
in the classroom that gets the attention
not the other 20 to 30 wanting to learn.

According to the Pew Research Center in 2015,
31% of the world’s population was Christian.

One third of the world population
claims to follow Jesus and His teachings.

Imagine the world without them.

We tend to focus on the problems,
it is always easier to point out what is wrong.

The only way to solve the problems
is to focus on the answer.

Jesus Christ is the answer.

He is God, He is the LORD of the world
and when people submit to Him,
He changes their lives.

Jesus did not come to take away
the evils of the world.

He came to change lives.

Ask yourself the question…

What would you rather have, God take
away illegal drugs, pornography, guns, etc.,
or change the heart and mind of a person?

It is not rare to see Jesus change men and women,
young and old with every ethnic background.

What does that change look like?

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

If you really want to do something about evil in
the world that is proven to make a difference,
turn to Jesus, make Him Lord of your life.

Scripture Reading

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you;
I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

2 Corinthians 5:17-6:1 NIV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
