The First Expression of Love is a Smile

If the Lord is smiling on you

Than shouldn’t you be smiling on others

 

 

 

 

 

God is Love

 

If this is true…

 

 Than every expression of love

is a trait of who God is.

 

I believe the simplest expression of love

is a smile.

 

Will you express God’s love to others?

 

It starts with a smile. 

 

A smile is something you put on your face.

 

When you stand in front of the mirror in the morning

the first thing you should put on is a smile.

 

No matter how hard it might be

putting on that smile will make you feel better.

 

A smile needs no words to communicate…

 

Approval, cheerfulness, encouragement,

charm, enthusiasm, affection, happiness,

cheerfulness, energy, friendly, appreciation, joy.

 

Smiles make you feel Welcome.

 

Smiles are infectious.

 

A smile will make you

and others feel good.

 

Smiles open doors of minds and hearts

 for greater communication.

 

Smiles remove fear.

 

All of us need smiles every day.

 

All of us need to give smiles every day.

 

To describe a smile…

 

 Is to describe God.

 

Moses said to Aaron and his sons…

 

Numbers 6:23-27 NIV

 

'This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:

"'"The Lord bless you

and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine upon you

and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you

and give you peace." ' 

 "So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them."

 

How else can you describe…

 

 “The Lord make His face shine upon you”

 

Except with a smile.

 

The blessings of the Lord start with a smile.

 

Will you bless others?

 

Will you express God’s love to others?
