Key Words

The key is a little thing

A key can start you on a great journey

A key can secure your life

And keys can open great opportunities

The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven may be small

But you cannot live without them

What is the Key Word you need today?

Matthew 16:19

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven;

whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,

 and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven

Like your car and house need keys

Your mind needs Key Words

Key Words

We talk about Key Words.

So what is a key?

We use the word key all the time.

Keys are an object we use to lock

and unlock doors or start a car.

We use keys on our computer key board.

We use keys when we sing or play an instrument.

Keys are very important to us.

Remember the last time you

could not find your car keys?

Or, you locked your keys in the car?

It is a little word and a little thing,

but it takes a key to gain entry.

When I get dressed in the morning, one of the

first things I do is put my keys in my pocket.

I do not go anywhere without my keys.

There are some keys I use

many times throughout the day.

I could not go anywhere and I cannot get

into certain places without those keys.

When you get up in the morning

and think about your day…

When you think about the things

you will need to deal with…

How do you get started?

How do you enter those issues of life?

I have learned to look for Key Words.

When I get up in the morning,

I get into God’s Word.

 Many times I come away with Key

Words that help me throughout the day.

When I am facing challenges,

 I prayerfully look for Key Words.

 

Isaiah says there is a rich storehouse of

Salvation and Wisdom and Knowledge.

The Fear of the Lord is the Key to this Treasure.

Isaiah 33:6

Finding our Keys in the morning or any other time

is best accomplished by going to the Lord.

The Keys of the Lord have the power

to lock and unlock heaven and earth…

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven;

whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,

and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Matthew 16:19

That means whatever you are dealing with today,

at work, at home or where ever you are today,

God has the Keys for you to control that situation.

The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven

open heaven’s resources to you.

With the Keys of the Kingdom

of Heaven you are in control.

If I am angry or upset with someone,

 the Key Word, Love, is going to

be very important to me.

If I am confused the Key Word,

will be Wisdom.

If I am not sure what direction to take,

the Key Word will be Knowledge.

When I look at my keys a lot of them look the

same but they do not all open the same door.

 

I need to take time to look closely at those

keys to make sure I got the right one.

Starting the day looking for the Keys of
the Kingdom of Heaven, will make your 

day more productive and peaceful.

Spend time looking for the Keys of the Kingdom.

You will find some of those keys are like

the keys you put in your pocket every day.

You wake up with those

Keys in your mind and heart.

  

Other times your Key Word will

come as you seek God for answers.

But no matter what you do…

Make sure you have the Key Word for today.

The Key is a little thing.

A Key can start you on a great journey.

A Key can secure your life.

And Keys can open great opportunities.

The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven may

be small but you cannot live without them.

keys your mind needs Key Words.
