Nothing Changed

What is changing in your life

and what is not?

 

A few months after Sandy was

diagnosed with a brain tumor,

she went to get another MRI.

When she was done,

they gave her the CD.

When Sandy got home,

I put the CD in the computer
to see if the tumor was gone.

Sandy not wanting to wait

walked the pond and prayed

like she does every day.

After I viewed the results

I went out to find Sandy,

she was back in the corner next to

the woods where she often sits and prays.

I sat on the ground next

to her in silence. 

After a few minutes,

she looked at me and said, “Well?”

 Not knowing how to tell her

what I had found,

I said, “I see no change,

the tumor is still there.”

Sandy replied, “Nothing has changed.”

She wasn’t referring to the tumor

she was referring to her God.

She was referring to her faith.

Nothing has changed!

Jesus Christ is still the same today

as He was yesterday

and He will be the same tomorrow!

The tumor is the same…

but so is God!

The question of which is greater is simple…

GOD!

The question of which will change is also simple…

the tumor!

Yes, we have asked God

if we need to change.

Sandy and I are still

believing for a healing.

So the question to our faith is simple…

 it has not changed!
