The “WHERE” You Will Spend Your Days

Have you ever wondered where God wants you?

Check it out - it might be your Heart’s Desire.

Where is a big question?

Where is my place in life?

Where does God want me to spend my days?

The answer may be simpler than you might think.

The answer is in your heart.

4 Delight yourself in the LORD and

He will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:4

What is the delight of your heart?

Another way to say it is…

what are you passionate about?

You and I want to be where our passion is.

I am passionate about my wife, family,

church, and helping people in need.

These are places I want to be.

Not all passions are right

or make us productive;

so the best way to develop our passion list

is delighting ourselves in the Lord.

The person who delights in the Lord

will find the heart becoming passionate

for the things that matter to God.

There are two ways to look at Psalm 37:4.

The first is…  He puts in our heart desires.

The second is… Our desires are fulfilled by Him.

So if you are looking for where God wants you to be,

look to the desires of your heart.

If you are passionate about children,

then get involved with children.

If you are passionate about teaching,

spend time studying and find some people to teach.

God has placed in your heart

desire for the place He wants you to be.

You may call it passion, calling, vision, or dream.

As you and I number our days,

let’s not leave out of the equation

our God-given passion that will tell us

where we should spend our days.
