Christmas
What Gift will you Bring to Jesus This Year?
As we celebrate another birthday of Jesus Christ what should we give Him?
Matthew 22:37-40 gives us a list of gifts we can give Jesus
Jesus replied, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Put Jesus on the top of list
What will you give Jesus this year?
· Gift from the heart
· Gift from the mind
· Gift from your strength
· Love and give to others
· Be a doer, take action
What Gift will you Bring to Jesus This Year?
Some people love searching
for gifts to give others.
Whether it is on line
or filling up the gas tank
and driving all over town.
There are people who start buying
almost a year in advance.
Then there are those of us
who have no idea what to
get our loved ones.
We want to do something
but don’t have the time.
So in the end,
we buy a gift card.
Who is on the top of your list?
That special person
More than likely…
a child, a boy or girl friend
Maybe your spouse or parent
I have gotten gifts from my children
and grandchildren
where the gift had no financial value…
But the fact this little child though about me
and wanted to express their love to me
melted my heart…
I was on their mind and in their heart.
It wasn’t what was underneath
the wrapping paper…
But what was inside this little child?
