Our Heavenly Father Kissed us Tuesday Night

(Reprint Devotional April 1, 2009)

 When you feel like you are in the desert,

our Heavenly Father wants

to open the windows of Heaven

For You!

Malachi 3:10 KJV

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse,

that there may be meat in mine house,

and prove me now herewith,

saith the LORD of hosts,

 if I will not open you the windows of heaven,

and pour you out a blessing,

that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

 

We are so grateful to the Brandts

and everyone that had a part in the Benefit Dinner on Sunday.

If we had received a million dollars,

it would not compare to the love we received.

We were blessed beyond words!

Today it all caught up to Sandy

and she was worn out.

She battled with her emotions all day.   

Tonight when Sandy got off work,

she pulled herself together

so we could go to the hospital

to see some very dear friends of ours

that had a baby.

When I got out of the car

at the hospital parking lot,

a SUV drove by.

On the back, side window were these words:

DON’T QUIT

BEFORE YOUR MIRACLE

It happened so fast,

before Sandy was totally out of the car.

All day the devil fed her negative thoughts;

and God caused the only car in the world

to go by us with the message:

“Don’t Quit Before Your Miracle”

Not only the only car like that,

but it passed at the exact moment

we were getting out of our car. 

When we got up to our friend’s hospital room,

the baby was there just long enough

for us to see her before

she had to go back to the nursery.

Also, the parents (our best friends)

of the new mother were just leaving

so we were able to see them

just before they left.

We got to see the baby and our friends by minutes.

God is so Good!

He knows there are times

we need those little kisses on the forehead

to remind us that He is there

and that He loves us!

When we left the hospital, I thought,

‘Why didn’t I stop that SUV

with the sign in the window

and take a picture with my cell phone.’

Then I thought maybe it was because it was an angel

and that SUV was not only there for us,

- but it may have only existed for us!
