God’s Wisdom always brings out the full glory and beauty of all His creation

God’s Wisdom is a wisdom of order

 Like that of the universe from the invisible to the largest objects

Have a designed place

God gave us the responsibility to keep His order

We have failed to rightly rule the earth

It is our fault the earth is full of trouble

Only getting back to God’s wisdom will we be able to replace disorder with peace

Even though we know there will be a final day to our disorder

We still have a mandate to reveal the manifold wisdom of God’s Heavenly wisdom 

Who knows maybe the only reason things are as bad as they are

Is because we have lost faith that our God is big enough

Within the church (you and I) are the answers, the process to peace 

Let’s be the hands and feet to the prayer our Lord taught us

"'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name,

 Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10

Now that and the rest of the prayer will take heavenly wisdom

“Earthly Wisdom” and “Heavenly Wisdom”.

 

Earthly Wisdom results in…

 

envy and selfish ambition, there you

find disorder and every evil practice.

James 3:16

 

What does this remind you of?

 

Heavenly Wisdom results in…

 

Peacemakers who sow in peace

raise a harvest of righteousness.

James 3:18

 

James gives us the ingredients of Heavenly Wisdom…

 

first of all pure

(innocent, perfect, modest)

 

then peace-loving

(pacific meaning peaceful in character or intent –

appropriate as in mild or gentle patient)

 

considerate, submissive

(good for persuasion, easy to be

intreated meaning to asks earnestly)

 

full of mercy

 (of uncertain affinity meaning a spontaneous or natural

liking or sympathy for someone or something; compassion)

 

and good fruit

 (ripe, ready, result of a fruit tree,

season of harvest, bearing of all

you are as a good gift, benefit)

 

impartial

 (treating all rivals or disputants equally; fair and just)

 

and sincere

 (without dissimulation meaning concealment

of one's thoughts, feelings, or character; pretense)

Sorry to have dumped so much information

but James’ few words when unpacked become

volumes of books on Heavenly Wisdom.

 

I hope you will find this expansion of

definitions helpful and will take

some time to think about each one.

 

The reason is we do not want to be deceived

 by fine sounding arguments as

Paul talks about in Colossians 2…

 

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love,

so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding,

 in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,

 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.

Colossians 2:1-4

 

The most important reason we should understand

what Heavenly Wisdom is, is found in Ephesians 3:10…

 

His intent was that now, through the church,

 the manifold wisdom of God should be made known

to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.

 

If you are like me you are upset about

all the things going on in our streets

 

We see a clear example of earthly wisdom…

 

Dividing people and destroying peace.

 

The efforts for peace bear evil, bad fruit.

 

There is hope and it is not in the government,

it is not in the protesters or rioters.

 

The hope is in the church, it is in you.

 

God intends for you and I, the

church, to make a difference.

 

I know there is a lot of church

 and God haters in the streets.

 

God’s Wisdom is not black and white.

 

 It is “manifold” meaning variegated

exhibiting different colors, especially

as irregular patches or streaks.

    

It is multifarious meaning having

many varied parts or aspects.

 

God’s Wisdom always brings out the
